At least two people were killed and four others wounded in a shooting in the southern Spanish town of El Ejido overnight, authorities said Tuesday.
A suspect has been arrested in connection with the incident, according to Spanish police. A Civil Guard spokesperson confirmed that the two victims who died were relatives of the suspected shooter, though further details about their relationship were not immediately released.
Local media outlet El País reported that two of the four injured individuals are minors under the age of 18.The shooting occurred in El Ejido, a town in Spain’s Almería province. Police have not yet disclosed a possible motive or additional details about the victims or the circumstances of the attack.
